Dr. Shaoning Lv received his PhD from the University of Twente in the Netherlands in 2019. He received his PhD from the Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014 (Master’s and Doctoral degrees combined). He received his Bachelor of Science from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in 2008. From December 2020 to present, he has been employed at the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Fudan University. His research interests include data assimilation, microwave remote sensing and land surface model simulation, and agricultural meteorology. He has completed the miniaturization of two generations of L-band microwave radiometers.
