Andrew J Thomas is a professor at Swansea
University and the head of the Swansea School of Management. He earned an M.Sc.
in Manufacturing Management and Technology and an M.A. in Education from the
Open University; a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Production Management from the Open
University Business School; and a D.Eng. in Forensic Analysis and Aero
Structures from Leeds Beckett University. His primary research interests are
forensic engineering, maintenance management, engineering management,
manufacturing strategy, and operations management. He has published over 250
research articles and journal papers and has delivered several keynote speeches
in these areas.
