Gugu Goodness Sema received her master's degree in business leadership from the UNISA-School of Business Leadership in 2019 and is now pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business and Information Management. She worked in both the National and Provincial Government as well as in the Private Sector in South Africa at various levels of Human Resource Development and focused on Learning Development, 2001-2011. In 2012, she moved to Media Information Communication Technology as a Specialist in Monitoring and Evaluation and was promoted to a Senior Manager, Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), in 2021. She serves as an EXCO member of the South African Artificial Intelligence Association. She has been appointed as an Associate Researcher at Nelson Mandela University. Her research topics mainly include Fourth Industrial Revolution, Business Incubators, Data privacy compliance, Protection of Personal Information, Systematic literature review, Information governance, Artificial Intelligence, and Entrepreneur.
