Author Biographies

Dr. Lineo Mphatsoane-Sesoane is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of the Free State, where she currently contributes to research in the field of instructional leadership and curriculum management. She obtained her PhD in January 2025 from the same institution, with a dissertation focused on managing accounting curriculum practices. Her study explored strategies for enhancing sustainable curriculum practices in accounting education, with a particular emphasis on teacher development and leadership roles in curriculum implementation. Dr. Sesoane is affiliated with the SANRAL Chair in Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education within the Office of the Dean at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. Her work continues to build on her doctoral research, investigating the intersections of leadership, curriculum management, and sustainable education practices in the Global South.

Molaodi Tshelane is an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies, College of Education, School for Teacher Education at UNISA. He was a senior lecturer in the Department of Education Studies at Sol Plaatje University and coordinator of B.ed Honours Curriculum Studies. He was a senior lecturer at the Central University of Technology, Faculty of Humanities. He was also a Risk Champion and Discipline coordinator in the Faculty of Education at UFS. To add, he has published several research articles in accredited international and South African journals, read numerous papers at educational conferences, and has written nine chapters in academic books. He has supervised more than 30 PhD and Master's students. He has also delivered several keynote addresses at various teacher education forums and conferences. Lastly, he is a Sustainable Learning Environments (SuLe) member and an Action Learning and Action Research Association (ALARA) associate editor.
