Dr. Gabriel Gašpar earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Trencianska Univerzita Alexandra Dubceka v Trencíne in 2010. He then completed his Master’s degree in Information Technology in 2012, and his Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2016, both from the Slovenská Technická Univerzita v Bratislave. Dr. Gašpar is currently the head of the Department of Sensor Systems at the Research Centre, University of Zilina in Slovakia. He also serves as an associate professor in the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His work includes developing in sensory systems and accompanying electronics, verifying of principles and circuitry, low-level programming and communication methods, system identification and controller design, and programmable logic controllers.
