Dr. Ioanna Pouliezou currently serves at the Medical Research Methodology, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 2021. She obtained her M.Sc.(Res) in Medical Research Methodology from the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2024. Dr. Pouliezou is interested in various topics of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, oral biology, and interdisciplinary oral rehabilitation. She was awarded the “Pantia Ralli” Scholarship issued by the National and Kapodistrial University of Athens in 2017 and the IKY Scholarship issued by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) in 2022. In addition, her work regarding her M.Sc. thesis was recognized with the first award for the best E-poster presentation by the Greek Orthodontic Society and the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece in 2024. In July 2025, Dr. Pouliezou's application was accepted to continue her studies at the postgraduate specialty program at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
