Dr. Akmalbek Abdusalomov is an assistant professor in the
Department of Computer Engineering at Gachon University, Republic of Korea. He
obtained his BS degree in Informatics and Information Technologies from
Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), Uzbekistan in 2015,
then MS and PhD degrees in IT Convergence Engineering from Gachon University in
2017 and 2022, respectively. Dr. Akmalbek Abdusalomov’s research interests
encompass object detection and classification, computer vision, artificial
intelligence (DL, ML), healthcare, and medical image processing.
Dr. Sabina Umirzakova received a
bachelor’s degree from the Tashkent University of Information Technology,
Uzbekistan, in 2015, and master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of IT
Convergence Engineering, Gachon University, Republic of Korea in 2019 and
2021, respectively. Dr. Sabina Umirzakova is currently an Assistant Professor
for the Department of IT Convergence Engineering at Gachon University. Dr.
Sabina Umirzakova’s research interests include, but are not limited to, medical
imaging, smart healthcare, and image and face segmentation using
state-of-the-art deep learning solutions.
