Shujun Li currently works at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences. He received a bachelor's degree in agricultural machinery from Jiamusi University in 1982, a master's degree in agricultural engineering from Jilin University in 1986, and a doctorate in food science from the China Agricultural University in 2002. As a key scientist, he has undertaken numerous domestic and international scientific and technological projects, including the development of the GWC series belt cross-flow dryer, a corn transplanter, and key technologies and complete equipment for potato chip processing. He has published over 200 papers in domestic and international academic journals, and has received numerous scientific and technological awards. His papers to receive awards include the "Development of Potato Comprehensive Processing Technology and Equipment", which received second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2006; the "Key Technologies for New Food Packaging Materials and Equipment", which received first prize of the Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2010; and the "Key Technologies and Equipment for Corn Seed and Straw Harvesting", which received first prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award in 2011.
