Dr. Kadir González currently works at the Department of Parasitology,
Molecular Biology and Tropical Medicine at The Gorgas Memorial Institute for Health
Studies (GMI). Kadir does research in molecular parasitology, immunology, and
clinical diagnostics of leishmaniasis and tropical diseases, and is affiliated
with the Panama University (UP). Their most recent publication is “Epidemiology and Genetic Characterization of Leishmania RNA Virus in Leishmania (Viannia) spp. Isolates from Cutaneous Leishmaniasis Endemic Areas in Panama”.
