Dailenys Marrero Morfa: Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master's in Drug Development from Natural Sources, graduated from the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas, Cuba. PhD in Chemical and Biological Sciences from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), Mexico. I currently work as a temporary research professor at the UAQ and collaborate with the Consolidated Academic Body for Research on Natural Products of Pharmaceutical and Food Interest of the Graduate Program in Chemical and Biological Sciences. My research focuses on the development of phytopharmaceuticals obtained from plants used in traditional Mexican medicine for the treatment of various pathologies, such as arterial hypertension. I am also involved in the use of innovative formulations such as self-microemulsifying drug delivery systems (SMEDDSs) and natural deep eutectic solvents (NADESs).
