Dr. Yanping Kang is an experimentalist at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic information science and technology and a master’s degree in computer technology from Guilin University of Technology. Her research areas include computer science and technology, the Internet of Things, and embedded systems. She teaches courses such as Microcontroller Principles and Interface Technology, Microcomputer Principles and Interface Technology, Introduction to Computer Knowledge and Applications, and Electronic Circuit CAD. She has presided over and participated in many scientific research projects. She has published several scientific research papers.
Dr. Yun Deng is a professor and master’s supervisor at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology, and currently serves as the Vice Dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering. His research focuses on the Internet of Things and big data. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in three National Natural Science Foundation projects, four provincial and ministerial projects, and received a second-class Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award. He has applied for six invention patents and two utility model patents, and has published over 30 high-level scientific papers. Systems he developed, including the Agricultural Internet of Things, smart drainage, and Guangxi forest soil environmental big data, have been deployed in sewage treatment plants in Guangxi Autonomous Region Forest Farm, Hunan Province, and Shijiazhuang, achieving significant economic and social benefits.
Dr. Qiu Lu studied in the Department of Computer Science at Central China Normal University from September 1998 to June 2002, receiving a bachelor’s degree in computer software. She studied at Guilin Institute of Technology from September 2004 to June 2007, receiving a master’s degree in computer applications. She joined the Department of Electronics and Computer Science at Guilin Institute of Technology in July 2002 and is currently an associate professor. Her research focuses on edge computing and image segmentation. She primarily teaches undergraduate courses such as “C Language Programming” and “Data Structures”, as well as the professional course “Database Principles”. She has presided over and participated in many scientific research projects. She has published several scientific research papers. As a major participant, she won the second prize at the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Awards.
