Dr. Keelah Williams is an Associate
Professor of Psychology and Director of Jurisprudence, Law and Justice Studies
at Hamilton College. She received her doctorate from Arizona State University
and her juris doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona
State University. During her time in law school, she served as editor-in-chief
of the Arizona State Law Journal. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of
Michigan at Dearborn. As an evolutionary psychologist, Dr. Williams’s current
research focuses on two areas: legal decision-making and friendship.
Dr. Ashley Votruba is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and has a Courtesy Appointment at the Nebraska College of Law. Dr. Votruba is the director of the Culture, Conflict, and Law Lab. Her areas of expertise include cultural psychology, conflict theory, restorative justice, civil justice, and alternative dispute resolution. Her research has been supported by The Department of Justice, University of Nebraska, and National Science Foundation. Dr. Votruba is a certified mediator and facilitator.
