Tolga N. V. Karsili holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, and is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, LA, USA. Prior to this, Tolga N. V. Karsili served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2018–2024), a Post-doctoral research associate in Computational and Theoretical Chemistry at Temple University (2016–2018), and a Post-doctoral research associate, Chair for Theoretical Chemistry, at Technical University of Munich (2014–2016). Tolga N. V. Karsili’s specific areas of interest include Photochemistry and Photobiology; Atmospheric Chemistry; Environmental and Marine Chemistry; and Microscale Modeling of Biomaterials. Tolga N. V. Karsili is interested in developing and applying computational methods for modelling the chemical and physical properties of molecular systems, at both the single-molecule level and in complex
environments.
