Dr. Julio Alberto Calderón Ramírez is a Full-Time Professor and Researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), Mexico. He holds a Ph.D. in the field of roadway and transportation planning. His academic and professional background includes extensive experience in research projects related to the design and planning of transportation infrastructure and urban mobility systems. Dr. Calderón-Ramírez is a member of the consolidated research group Transportation Infrastructure, Regional Development, and Social Impact, and he currently holds Level 1 membership in the National System of Researchers of Mexico (SNI). He has authored more than 15 articles in high-impact scientific journals and contributed to six book chapters. His teaching disciplines focus on transportation infrastructure design, and his broader research interests include sustainable transportation and infrastructure development.
