Dr. Lili Yang is a Professor at School of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen University. She received her Ph.D. at School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University in 2006. She served as a Lecturer at the School of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen Medical University (2000-2002), Postdoctoral fellow at Cleveland Clinic Center, USA (2006-2009), Postdoctoral fellow/lecturer at Mount Sinai Medical Center, USA (2010-2011) and Lecturer at Cornell University Medical School, USA (2011-2013). She serves as member on several national and international scientific advisory boards, including Nutrition Society of China, Guangdong Nutrition Society, etc; She also serves as a reviewer for journals such as J of Hepatology; Free Radical Biology & Medicine; Nutrition Research; Alcohol; Alcohol and Alcoholism, etc. Her research interests include alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver, the pathogenesis and nutrition prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis; and the role of nutritional factors in the treatment of liver cancer.
