Pamela Cribb is an Independent Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET) and Project Leader at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Rosario (IBR-CONICET-UNR). She is also an Adjunct Professor of Parasitology at the Faculty of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR). She earned her MSc in Biotechnology (2000) and PhD in Biological Sciences (2007) from UNR and completed her postdoctoral training in Molecular Parasitology at IBR. Her research focuses on the molecular biology of Trypanosoma cruzi, with a focus on chromatin structure, non-histone proteins, and epigenetic regulation. Additionally, she is interested in the role of the chromatin protein TcHMGB as an inflammatory mediator during infection. She has led several research projects funded by national and international agencies, addressing parasite nuclear architecture, host–parasite interactions, and drug target discovery. Dr. Cribb has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to the development of innovative tools, including genetically engineered T. cruzi strains for drug screening. She has mentored undergraduate and graduate students and is actively involved in science outreach and extension activities. She is a member of the Argentine Society of Protozoology (SAP), where she has held leadership roles, as well as the Argentine Society for Research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SAIB).
