Csaba Varga is an associate professor of epidemiology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in veterinary medicine and his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in applied veterinary epidemiology from the University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca. He also earned an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in population medicine and epidemiology from the University of Guelph. His laboratory focuses on understanding the distribution and clustering of diseases at the population level.
