Prof. Liang Li currently serves as the chief scientist of the agricultural reference material team at the Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a member of the review expert group of the National Committee for Standard Materials, and an expert in the standard material technical review expert database of the State Administration for Market Regulation. He is a member of the National Technical Committee on Biometrics (MTC20), a member of the National Technical Committee on Measurement of Uncertainty in Measurement (MTC39), and a member of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Biochemical Testing (SAC TC387). He is mainly engaged in biological and chemical metrology and reference material research and has established a common technology platform for protein, nucleic acid, organic (agricultural and veterinary drugs), and inorganic (trace elements) metrology, and he has developed a number of key technologies for metrology and reference material development with independent intellectual property rights. His research fields include agricultural product quality and safety, medical diagnosis, forensic science, genetically modified products, animal and plant diseases, etc.
