Wm. Terrell Danley Jr. serves as Senior Director of Programs at the Washington Literacy Center and an Adjunct Professor at the University of the District of Columbia, where he teaches within the Division of Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Leadership and Entrepreneurship, an M.A. in Adult Education, a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Penn State, and an A.A. in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. With over three decades of experience across education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership, Dr. Danley has led initiatives focused on adult literacy, disconnected youth re-engagement, and career pathway design. He is a published researcher in the field of emerging adulthood and a Seeding Disruption Fellow with The Equity Lab. His work integrates psychological theory, community-based education, and systems change strategies to promote purpose, agency, and hope among underserved populations in Washington, DC.
