Burak Göksu received a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Yıldız Technical University in 2013. He completed his PhD studies in Marine Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University in 2022. He worked as a research fellow at the University of Southampton between August 2024 and July 2025. In 2025, he was promoted to the Assistant Prof. Dr. position in the Marine Engineering Department at Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University. His research topics mainly include: ship propulsion systems, ship hydrodynamics, wind propulsion technologies and ship resistance.
