Erze Cocaj (born 18 June 1997, Kosovo) is a biologist with an international academic and research background. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Biology at the University of Pristina, where she also completed her first Master’s degree. She then obtained a second Master’s degree (Biological Sciences—Molecular diagnostics and Biotechnology) at the University of Camerino, Italy, and participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Most recently, Erze completed a three-month internship at King’s College London, focusing on extracellular vesicle research. Her work included the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles, as well as the incorporation of small interfering RNA (siRNA) for potential therapeutic applications. She is currently working at the University of Pristina as a teaching assistant for the Plant Physiology course, where she is responsible for conducting and overseeing the experimental component of the subject. Her expertise spans molecular biology, plant physiology, cell culture, and nanomedicine-related techniques.
