Dr. M. Cristina Rabello-Soares received her BSc in Physics and master’s degree in Physics from Universidade
de Minas Gerais, Brazil, as well as her PhD in Astronomy at the Instituto de Astrofísica de
Canarias, Spain. She was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Department of Space
Science at Aarhus University, Denmark, and the European Space Agency’s European
Space and Technology Centre. She was a Professor at Universidade Federal de
Minas Gerais. Currently, she is a Senior Physical Science Research Scientist at
Stanford University. Her main research interests include solar physics, astrostatistics techniques, solar astrophysics, and
stellar astrophysics.
