Prof. Dr. Shuangyi Li is a professor, doctoral supervisor, director of the Land Reclamation Engineering Teaching and Research Section, and director of the Soil Fertility Research Laboratory at the College of Land and Environment at Shenyang Agricultural University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in land resource management and a master’s degree and a doctorate in soil science from Shenyang Agricultural University. He was a visiting scholar at Ohio State University in the United States. His major is soil science, and his research interests include soil fertility, soil resources, and information technology. He teaches undergraduate courses, such as “Basics of Soil Science”, “Soil Resources and Information Technology”, and “Soil and Fertilizer Science”, and participates in teaching graduate courses, such as “Soil Fertilizer Mechanics” and “Soil Biology and Ecology”. He has presided over and participated in many national and provincial scientific research projects. He is a director of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer, a director and deputy secretary-general of the Liaoning Soil Society, deputy director of the Liaoning Key Laboratory of Black Soil Evolution and Ecological Effects, a member of the Liaoning Provincial Cultivated Land Quality Grade Survey and Evaluation Expert Group, and a director of the Shenyang Land Society.
