Donat Karzhauov received a bachelor’s degree in landscape and garden architecture from Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University in 2016 and a master’s degree in landscape and garden architecture from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra in 2024. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. He has professional experience at the Botanical Garden of Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University, where he served as a supervisor of student field training (2019–2021), engineer (2021–2022), and deputy director (2022). His main research interests include tree architecture, urban forestry, spatial data acquisition, terrestrial laser scanning, and structure-from-motion photogrammetry.
Viera Paganová is a full professor at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia (SUA), and Head of the Laboratory for Modelling Urban Environment and Landscape at the AgroBioTech Research Centre in Nitra. She earned an MSc in forestry (1991) and a PhD in phytology and genetics (1995) from the Technical University in Zvolen. Her research and teaching career at SUA began in 1995 and progressed from assistant professor to associate professor (2004–2009) and full professor (since 2009). She specializes in phenotyping, ecophysiology, biodiversity, urban forestry, and tree management, and serves as an expert in environmental protection and dendrology. Viera is a member of the Slovak Botanical Society.
Ľuboš Moravčík is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia. He received an MSc in civil engineering (1985) from the Technical University in Bratislava and a PhD in CAD, finite element analysis, and computer graphics (2001) from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. His career has included roles as assistant professor (1988–2001) and associate professor (since 2001), combining teaching, supervision, and research in digital modeling of landscapes. His current interests include terrestrial laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, landscape information modeling, tree risk assessment, and advanced 3D computer graphics.
He is a national delegate to the European Council of Civil Engineers and the European Council of Engineers Chambers.
