Binghui Zhang received his master's degree in Geological engineering from the Guilin University of Technology in June 2010. He worked as Intermediate engineer at Guilin University of Technology (July 2014–November 2020). He was promoted to Associate professor in December 2020. His research topics mainly include red clay, the structural clay of the Zhanjiang Formation, expansive soil, and the prevention and control of karst disasters.
Yanhua Xie received her master's degree in Geological engineering from the Guilin University of Technology in June 2010. She worked as Senior Lecturer at Guangxi Urban Construction School (December 2017–November 2020). In December 2020, she moved to Guilin University Of Aerospace Technology and was promoted to Associate professor in December 2022. Her research topics mainly include red clay, the structural clay of the Zhanjiang Formation, expansive soil, and the prevention and control of karst disasters.
