Author Biographies

Dr. Ting-Han Pei is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. He holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering and Electronics from National Chiao Tung University. He was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica; a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Astrophysics, Academia Sinica; a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore; a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; an assistant researcher and postdoctoral researcher at National Chiao Tung University; a postdoctoral researcher at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University; a postdoctoral researcher at National Taiwan University; and a senior engineer at HannStar Display. His research includes optoelectronic component design, electromagnetic computing and simulation, artificial materials with a negative refractive index, liquid crystal optics, the development of optical quantum computing systems, the optimization of solar energy utilization, general relativity, quantum physics, and solid-state physics. He has published nearly 30 scientific research papers, including 28 SCIE and ESCI papers. In addition, he has published 15 seminar papers.
