Dr. Guillaume Bastiat is an Assistant Professor in the Health Department at the University of Angers, where he teaches biophysics, biostatistics, and innovation in pharmaceutical technologies. Dr. Bastiat received his Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Pau with a focus on the physico-chemistry of polymers, specifically micellar radical copolymerization and micelle/polymer interactions. From 2004 to 2008, he completed two postdoctoral fellowships at the Université de Montréal, Canada, first at the Centre for Self-Assembled Chemical Structures and then at the Canada Research Chair in Drug Delivery. His current research focuses on the development of innovative pharmaceutical technologies for parenteral administration, particularly using hydrogels composed of lipid nanoparticles or organogels.
