Prof. Dr. Ping Wang received his B.S. in Helicopter Design from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, in 1994, and his M.S. in Helicopter Design from the same university in 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, in 2001, and later earned a Ph.D. in Combustion Simulation from Lund University, Sweden, in 2005. From 2005 to 2011, he worked as a Research Assistant at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. In 2012, he joined Jiangsu University, where he was promoted to Professor. His research topics primarily include turbulent combustion, combustion modeling, large-eddy simulation, and simulation of gas-turbine combustors.
