Ana Maria Dodocioiu is an Associate Professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of
Horticulture, Department of Horticulture and Food Science. She earned her PhD
in Agricultural Sciences in 2004 and completed a Master's program in Ecological
Management of Natural Resources in 2017. Her research interests include
nutrient management in agriculture, soil and water pollution, ecological
restoration of degraded land, and the implementation of the Nitrates and Water
Framework Directives. She has over 20 years of experience in teaching and
research and has authored or co-authored more than 160 scientific publications.
She has coordinated seven research projects and contributed to nine others. In
recognition of her scientific contributions, she received the “Gheorghe
Ionescu-Șișești” award from the Romanian Academy of Agricultural and Forestry
Sciences in both 2005 and 2012.
