Dr. Mohd Shahril Nizam Shaharom is a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaya's Faculty of Education, with a background in multimedia education and software engineering. He is particularly interested in digital skills, edupreneurship, hyflex learning, multimedia creation, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into education, and designing instructional materials for online courses like MOOCs. He frequently hosts awareness-raising events that encourage teachers, students, and the community—particularly teenagers—to use digital skills and smartly and creatively employ artificial intelligence. Along with teaching graphic design (using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva), video editing, and broadcasting platforms (using Streamyard to Open Broadcaster Software, OBS), he also enjoys teaching multimedia.
