PhD candidate in Neurosciences at the Academic Medical Centre of Lisbon (CAML), Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon (FMUL). Holds a Master’s degree in Neurosciences from FMUL and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão (ESSA). Currently an Assistant Professor at Escola Superior de Saúde Atlântica (ESSATLA) and a Physiotherapist at the Centro de Medicina e Reabilitação do Alcoitão (CMRA). Affiliated with the Research Unit of the Laboratório de Farmacologia Clínica e Terapêutica (LFCT) in Lisbon and the Centre for Studies on Society, Organisations and Well-Being (CESOB) in Barcarena. Researcher in rehabilitation and neurology projects, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and oral presentations at scientific conferences. Engages in clinical practice in neurorehabilitation at CMRA. Since 2015, has undertaken diverse professional training focused on Neurological Rehabilitation and Clinical Research.
