Since February 2018, I have been employed as academic staff at the Department of Medical Biology, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. During this time, I participated in the project titled "Stem Cell and Cord Blood Center Establishment". In September 2019, I worked on stem cell processing (which includes isolation, processing, characterization, quality control, cryopreservation) at Crioesteminal Cord Blood Bank (Portugal), which was helpful for training in GMP laboratory standards for our project.
I had an interest in kidney transplant immunology during my MSc degree. The title of my master's thesis is ‘’Evaluation of Th17 and Th1 Immune Response Profile in Patients after Renal Transplant ‘’. When I entered Istanbul Medical Faculty for my master's degree, my department gave me considerable responsibility in the flow cytometry laboratory.
In addition, I will have finished my PhD at Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine, Medical Biology Department, in 3 months. My PhD thesis title is "Evaluation of the Relationship Between Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Immune System in In vitro Conditions".
