Dr. Catherine Cerulli is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). She completed her BA studies in Arts & Sciences at St Marys College in 1987, JD studies in Law at State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992, MA studies in Criminal Justice at the State University of New York at Albany in 1998, and PhD studies in Criminal Justice at State University of New York at Albany in 2004. She has been awarded the National Institute of Mental Health New Investigator Award in 2005, Finalist for the "W" Award in 2009, Kate Stoneman Award in 2009, Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011, and Excellence in Public Service in 2014. Her research interests include translating science regarding social determinants of health into practice.
Dr. Hugh F. Crean is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the School of Nursing and School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his BA studies in Psychology at Saint Michael’s College, Winooski, VT, USA, in 1982 and his PhD studies in Psychology at the University of Texas, Austin, TX, USA, in 1994. His research interests include school-based and after-school psychosocial prevention initiatives for high-risk children and youth and families, program evaluation of psychosocial interventions, and contextual effects on adolescent risky behaviors.
