Prof. Dr. Shaojun Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Ecology and Environment, Southwest Forestry University. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research work such as global change ecology, forest ecology, soil ecology, and desertification control. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including sub-topics of the National Basic Research 973 Program, general and regional projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (4 projects), 948 projects of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, sub-topics of Yunnan Province’s key R&D projects, Yunnan Province’s Global Change Ecology Mentor Team Project, Yunnan Province’s Advanced Ecology Graduate Quality Course Project, and Yunnan Province’s Local Standard Project for Desertification Control. He has produced more than 100 papers, including more than 30 SCI papers (more than 10 in Zone 1) in important international academic journals such as Soil Biology and Biochemistry, Science of The Total Environment, Soil & Tillage Research, Catena, Journal of Environmental Management, and Land Degradation & Development.
