Padraig Corcoran is a Reader in the School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University. He holds a BSc and PhD in Computer Science from Maynooth University. Before joining Cardiff University, he completed a European Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship. During the outgoing phase of this fellowship, he worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), while, during the incoming phase, he worked at University College Dublin (UCD). His research interests are in network science and operations research. He is particularly interested in applications to the domains of geographical information science and transportation.
