Author Biographies

Aurel Burciu is a professor in the Department of Management, Business Administration, and Tourism at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Romania. Professor Burciu is a Ph.D. supervisor in Business Administration and has over 30 years of teaching and researching experience in three areas: management, international business, and comparative management. Professor Aurel Burciu has studied for individual semesters at different European universities (Greenwich University, London—1995-1996; IUT Paul Abatiers, Toulouse—1996-1997; Trent University, UK—1997, etc.). He was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Florida during the 2002–2003 academic year. With extensive academic experience, he has authored numerous studies and publications on business administration and organizational management. He actively collaborates with national and international researchers to explore innovative solutions to economic and managerial challenges. His areas of expertise include management, economics, international business, KM, LO, organizational culture, strategic management, comparative management, AI techniques in economics, keiretsu groups in Japan, corporate management in the US and EU, sustainable development at the economy/firm level, etc., MNC and SME management, business ethics, and knowledge and innovation.
Carla Alexandra Barbosa Pereira is President and Professor of the Department of Management and Economics at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Portugal, and a Researcher in the NECE- Business Science Research Center in UBI. She is also Ph.D. Supervisor in Management, with experience of around 25 years of teaching and research in Management and Marketing. Her areas of expertise and research interests include relationship marketing, work satisfaction, and I5 industry and sustainability. She has contributed to various academic publications and collaborates with researchers across Europe to study contemporary issues in economics and business administration/management/marketing.
Nicolae-Florin Prunău is an associate professor at Danubius International University in Galați, Romania, within the Faculty of Communication and International Relations, where he also serves as head of the Department of Communication Sciences. He holds a degree in Economics from “Petre Andrei” University of Iași (1999), a master's degree in Public Policy and European Integration from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest (2008), and a PhD in Business Administration from the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava (2024). With a background in military education and service, he transitioned to academia in 2019. He has enhanced his pedagogical competencies through postgraduate training in digital pedagogy, entrepreneurship education, and inclusion of students with special needs. His academic activity includes participation in Erasmus+ mobilities with partner universities in Albania, Bulgaria, Israel, the Republic of Moldova, and Turkey.
Rozalia Kicsi, PhD, is a Professor at the "Stefan cel Mare" University of Suceava, Faculty of Economics, Administration and Business, Department of Management, Business Administration and Tourism. Her main fields of scientific interest are international business, international trade, and business administration. She is the author and co-author of more than 30 papers published in international scientific journals; she is also the author and co-author of three books in her main fields of interest, as well as of teaching and learning materials for students. She is a member of the American Economic Association and other national and international professional associations.
Denisa-Alexandra Chifan is a joint PhD candidate in Business Administration at the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Romania, and in Management at the University of Beira Interior, Portugal, under a bilateral academic cooperation agreement. Her doctoral research explores the managerial evolution and technological leadership of American multinational corporations from 1900 to the present, focusing on vision, tacit knowledge, and core technologies. Her academic interests include business strategy, organizational management, international economics, and innovation. In the first 4 years of doctoral studies, she published over 10 articles in different international journals and participated in 6 papers in international conferences.
Camelia Băeșu is an Associate Professor at the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. She holds a PhD in Management from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași and has over 20 years of experience in teaching and research. Her work focuses on education and management, with contributions to both fields through interdisciplinary teaching, participation in national and international conferences, and publications in academic journals. Her academic interests center on innovation, inclusion, and the connection between theory and practice in education and administration.
Alexandra-Maria Danileț is an assistant at the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, Department of Management, Business Administration and Tourism. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Business Administration with the thesis “Study of the relationship between innovations dynamics and the internationalization of business organizations”. Also, she attended postdoctoral studies in advanced research in the field of business administration, contributing the paper "The role of disruptive innovations in MNCs' strategies to overcome the global recession generated by COVID-19”. She is the author of one book and over fifteen papers on topics such as the innovative activity within business organizations, the strategies they follow to access the global market, the impact of information technology on organizational performance, the connection between innovation and the internationalization of firms, and the role of digital technologies in developing new business models.
