Vorrada Loryuenyong received her bachelor’s degree in material science and engineering from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 2000, her master’s degree in materials science and engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, USA in 2002, and her doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in materials science and engineering from the University of California-Berkeley, USA, in 2006. She is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, Thailand, and joined the institution in 2006. In addition, she is working as a researcher for the National Center of Excellence for Petroleum, Petrochemicals and Advanced Materials, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her main research interests are the sol-gel process, semiconductor materials, thin film, photocatalysts, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), perovskite solar cells (PSCs), carbon nanostructures, luminescent phosphor, adsorption and adsorbents, CO2 capture, and batteries.

Buntita Plongmai received her bachelor’s degree in petrochemicals and polymeric materials from Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, in 2025. Her main research interests are agro-industrial residues, biomass, waste conversion, cellulose-based separatosr, silica, energy storage devices, product innovation, sustainable battery materials.

Nitikorn Pajantorn received his bachelor’s degree in petrochemicals and polymeric materials from Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, in 2025. His main research interests are agro-industrial residues, biomass, waste conversion, cellulose-based separators, silica, energy storage devices, product innovation, and sustainable battery materials.

Prasit Pattananuwat received his bachelor’s degree in petrochemicals and polymeric materials from Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, in 2002, his master’s degree in applied polymer science and textile technology from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2004, and his doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2011. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. His main research interests are gas sensors based on conductive polymers, supercapacitors, batteries, and biocompatible electrodes.

Achanai Buasri received his bachelor’s degree in petrochemicals and polymeric materials from Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, in 2002, and his master’s degree in chemical engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2004. He is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, and joined the institution in 2004. His main research interests are biodiesel production, heterogeneous catalysis, chemical reactor design, biomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, graphene and its derivatives, water and wastewater treatment, adsorption and adsorbents, CO2 capture, photocatalytic, batteries, dye-sensitized and perovskite solar cells, electrochromic devices, and luminescent materials.
