Cao Xi graduated from Lanzhou University of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in
Architecture. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Architecture at
Hebei University of Technology. Her research interests include architectural
design and theory, industrial heritage conservation and adaptive reuse.
Liu Xin graduated from Hebei University of Technology in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
and obtained a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Anhalt University
of Applied Sciences, Germany, in 2006. She is an Associate Professor and
Master’s supervisor at the School of Architecture and Art Design, Hebei
University of Technology. She has led five provincial and ministerial-level
research projects, participated in 1 national-level research project,
published over 30 journal papers, and presided over more than 10 horizontal
research and practical projects. Her research interests include architectural
design and theory, architectural heritage conservation and urban regeneration,
industrial heritage conservation and adaptive reuse, and sustainable
development of traditional villages.
