Prof. Dr. Meng Qin is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Nanjing University. He studied for his B.S. from Nanjing University between 1998.9 and 2002.6, followed by a Ph.D. from the same institution from 2002.9 to 2007.6. His academic career at Nanjing University has seen him progress through several roles, starting as a Lecturer from 2007.6 to 2009.12, then serving as an Associate Professor from 2009.12 to 2015.12 and advancing to a Professor in 2015.12. With a solid educational foundation and extensive teaching and research experience at Nanjing University, he contributes to physics-related academic endeavors.
Wei Sun is a full-time postdoctoral researcher at the School of Physics, Nanjing University. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Hefei University of Technology in 2022. From 2022 to 2024, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Metallic Materials at Hefei University of Technology, and in 2024 he joined Nanjing University’s School of Physics as a postdoctoral researcher.
His research focuses on the design of polymers and polymer-based nanocomposites, mechanochemistry at solid–liquid interfaces, and the modulation of frictional properties. In recent years, he has made significant progress in these areas, publishing over 30 research papers in journals such as Carbon, Macromolecules, Physics of Fluids, and Friction. Among them, 15 are first-author articles, with his work having been cited more than 600 times.
