Wenfei Zhang is a Doctor of Economics. She is an associate professor and supervisor of the master's degree of College of Humanities & Social Sciences of Huazhong Agricultural University, and a researcher of Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Innovation Research Center. She is also a member of the China Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Research Institute, the Civil Law Research Institute of Hubei Law Society, the Bankruptcy Law Research Institute of Hubei Law Society, and the Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Research Institute of Hubei Law Society. She was a visiting scholar at the Bordeaux University in France. Her research interests are natural resources law, law and economics, and agricultural intellectual property. She presided over the Humanities and Social Science Research Youth Fund of the Ministry of Education of China, Hubei Province Social Science Fund, China Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Research Institute Fund, and Central University Basic Research Funds of China, and participated in the National Social Science Fund and projects commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Natural Resources. She has published 20 academic papers in the Internet Law Review, the Institutional Economics, the Journal of Huazhong Agricultural University (Social Science Edition), the Shandong Social Sciences, the Soft Science, and other journals. She won the first prize of the National Agricultural Intellectual Property Forum.

Xinyi Chen is an assistant researcher of Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Innovation Research Center, majoring in law. Her research interests are agricultural law and intellectual property law. She is actively involved in interdisciplinary legal research and is an scholar in agricultural, intellectual property, and environmental law. She has methodological strengths in theoretical modeling, data analysis, and text mining. She is interested in researching topics such as seed industry revitalization, rural governance, and ecological security. Several of her works have received national-level awards at top-tier academic competitions officially recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
