Marcos Alyssandro Soares dos Anjos is a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB). He is the holder of a Level 2 Productivity Fellowship in Technological Development and Innovative Extension (CNPq). He is a Lecturer on the postgraduate programmes in Civil and Environmental Engineering (PPGECAM) at UFPB and in Science and Engineering of Materials (PPCEM) at UFPB. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Coimbra (2020) under the PVEX scheme (CAPES). He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (2000), a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), and a Doctorate in Science and Engineering of Materials from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2009). He completed postdoctoral research at the University of Minho, Portugal (2012), focusing on self-compacting concrete with high levels of mineral admixtures. He has expertise in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Building Materials and Components, working primarily on the following topics: 3D concrete printing, cementitious matrix composites (concretes, mortars, oil well cements), sustainable construction, and the mechanical properties and durability of cementitious materials.
