Flavia Pantaleo earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 2005 and a Master's degree in Nursing Science in 2012, both from Sapienza University of Rome, with top honours. She is expected to complete her PhD in Nursing Science and Public Health in October 2025 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, affiliated with the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention. From 2006 to 2018, she worked as a clinical nurse in an adult respiratory intensive care unit. Between 2012 and 2024, she taught Evidence-Based Nursing in the Bachelor's program at Sapienza University and served as a clinical tutor from 2019 to 2024. Since January 2025, she has held the position of Academic Coordinator of the same program. In the 2024–2025 academic year, she also teaches Nursing Research. Her research interests include nursing education and training, focusing on competence assessment during undergraduate studies and the licensure examination. In 2023, she published an article on this topic in Heliyon.
