Prof. Qigen Liu is a Ph.D., professor, and doctoral supervisor. He graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University, Shanghai
Fisheries University, and East China Normal University with B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, respectively, and also worked as an aquaculture specialist and visiting scholar in the United States from 1997 to 1998. He is also the deputy director of several research centers at Shanghai Ocean University and holds several national and provincial academic positions. He has been teaching undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses for many years. His research focuses on freshwater ecology, aquatic animal ecology, and ecology of biological invasions, and he has led several national and industry-specific research projects in recent years. With his excellent teaching and research abilities, he has been awarded many honors, such as Master Teacher of Shanghai Ocean University and Qianjiang Scholar of Hangzhou.
Prof. Zhongjun Hu is an associate professor and master’s degree supervisor in the Aquaculture Department of the Department of
Aquaculture, Shanghai Ocean University. Dr. Hu graduated from Hunan Agricultural University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 1997. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in ecology from the Institute of Subtropical Agricultural Ecology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1997–1999 and from the East China Normal University (ECNU) in 2005, respectively. From September to December 2008, he went to the Institute of Aquatic Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for further study. He has been engaged in animal ecology for many years, and his main research interests are fishery and aquaculture ecology, benthic ecology, etc. He has led and participated in more than 30 research projects and published more than 30 papers as the first or corresponding author.
