Prof. Xuguang Hu currently works as an associate professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation, a Master's Degree and a Doctoral Degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering all from Northeastern University. His main research content is intelligent modelling, data analytics, and status awareness of energy systems. He is involved with the National Natural Science Foundation of China and in horizontal projects of companies such as State Grid Corporation of China. He serves as the secretary of the Energy Internet Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation and the Vice organizational committee chairman of the International Conference on Cyber-energy Systems and Intelligent Energies.
