Patricio Más-Serrano is a Clinical Pharmacist and Head of the Model-Informed Precision-Dosing Unit at the Pharmacy Department, General University Hospital Dr. Balmis of Alicante, Spain, while also serving as Associate Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at Miguel Hernández University (Elche). He earned his Licentiate (1997) and PhD (2005) in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia and holds Master’s degrees in Medical Device Technology (Granada, 2016) and in Pharmacotherapeutic Quality and Patient Safety (Valencia, 2017). Board-certified in Pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, he co-directs the university’s Master’s programme in Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Individualised Dosing and had led the National Working Groups on Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacogenetics of the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy. His professional memberships include the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology, where he serves on the Biologics Board. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, coordinated several competitive research projects, and routinely teaches clinical pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, and transplant immunopharmacology. His current research interests focus on population PK modelling, model-informed precision dosing, and real-world evaluation of immunosuppressant safety and efficacy.
