Dr. Jie Guo received her B.S. degree in applied mathematics
and her M.S. degree in physical oceanography from the Ocean University of
China, Qingdao, China, in 2002 and 2006, respectively, and her Ph.D. degree in
physical oceanography from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao, in 2009.
Since July 2009, she has been with the Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone
Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include ocean
waves and sea-surface wind remote sensing, as well as marine oil pollution
detection using multipolarization synthetic aperture radar.
