Dr. Lucia Pepa received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (cum laude) in 2010 and her Master's degree in Electronic Engineering (cum laude) in 2012 from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy. She earned her Ph.D. in E-learning – Technology Enhanced Learning from the same university in 2016. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Università Politecnica delle Marche. Her research focuses on affective computing, mobile and web applications for managing neurodegenerative disorders, and consumer technologies for healthcare applications.

Capecci has been an Associate Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the
Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine - University “Politecnica” of
Marche, since July the 1st 2019. Senior Medical Advisor at the
Neurorehabilitation Clinic – University Hospital “Ospedali Riuniti di Ancona” –
Italy. Education: Master Degree of Medicine cum laude at the Catholic
University of Rome (1998), Medical Specialization in Physical and
Rehabilitation Medicine (06/MEDS-19, ex MED34_2002), and PhD in Neurological Science (MEDS-12/A Neurology (ex MED/26 Neurology)_2006)
from the University “Politecnica” of Marche. Scientific National Italian Habilitation
as Full Professor (2020). Main research interests: movement disorders; rehabilitation of movement
disorders motor and non-motor disorders; gait and postural abnormalities; clinical and Instrumental assessment of
movement gait and posture; brain stimulation; tele-monitoring of motor and
non-motor disturbances and tele-rehabilitation; oncological rehabilitation with
