Dr. Marcy A. Kingsbury is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, a Principal Investigator at the Mucosal Immunology and Biology Research Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Assistant Investigator at MGH Lurie Center for Autism. She completed her BA studies in Neuroscience at Hamilton College in 1993 and her PhD studies in Developmental Neuroscience at Cornell University in 2000. Her research interests include autism, brain development, gastrointestinal development, inflammation, maternal immune activation, microbiome-gut-brain axis, microglia, mitochondria, mucosal immunology, neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroimmune interactions, oxytocin, and social behavior.
Prof. John M. Davis is a Professor of Medicine at the Department of Psychiatry, Chicago School of Medicine, the University of Illinois. He completed his MD studies in Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, interned at Massachusetts General Hospital, and completed his psychiatric residency at Yale University School of Medicine. His research interests include clinical trials, meta-analysis, biochemical and epigenetic basis of mental illness, child development, obesity, the role of nutrition in mental illness, heart attacks, and strokes.
Dr. Eric C Porges is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, the University of Florida Health. He completed his MA studies in Cognitive Science at Hampshire College, Amherst, MA, USA, in 2004, and his PhD studies in Integrative Neuroscience at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, in 2013. His research interests include age-related changes in cognition and the neurophysiological processes that underlie, impact and accelerate these changes, heavy alcohol use, HIV, and obesity, neuroimaging, magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), cognitive and behavioral assessment, metabolic tools, and neuromodulation methods.
