Dr. Sandra Jerkovic Gulin, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Consultant Dermatologist at County Hospital Ryhov in Jönköping, Sweden, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Linköping University. She holds medical licenses in Sweden, Croatia, and Norway and serves as International Academic Coordinator at Linköping University’s Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Jerkovic Gulin earned her medical degree, MSc, and PhD from the University of Zagreb, where her doctoral research focused on cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. She received specialized dermatology training at institutions such as the University Clinic Barcelona and AKH Vienna. Her research spans genital dermatoses, sexually transmitted infections, lichen sclerosus (microbiome, virome, WGS studies), and inflammatory skin diseases. Actively engaged in international collaborations and national dermatological education boards, she also consults for digital dermatology platforms and co-hosts the SkinScope Dermatology Podcast. She has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications and participates in multiple epidemiological and translational studies.
