Hayden Marcollo is the first Chair of WFO’s Floating Wind Cables and Floating Substations Subcommittee. He holds four international patents in riser systems, along with two provisional patents in offshore renewable energy. Hayden is also the founder and first Chair for the Society of Underwater Technology Melbourne Branch, Adjunct Professor in Ocean Engineering at the University of Tasmania, and official Discussor on the ISSC (International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress) Loads Subcommittee and is on the IEC TC114 Marine Energy Committee.
